About Vicki Almond

Vicki Almond's 25 years of service in public schools, working with our police and fire departments, leading community groups, in state government and in Baltimore County Democratic politics, has prepared her to provide this community with thoughtful, responsible, and ethical leadership without delay.

Vicki currently lives in Reisterstown with her husband Joe. She has two daughters, both of whom attended St. Thomas Parish Day School, Cedarmere Elementary, Franklin Middle and Franklin High Schools, and now has six beautiful grandchildren.

Through serving the community all of these years Vicki has had the opportunity to not only get to know the people of the community, but to fully understand their needs. She is committed to Baltimore County's future and believes that the key to our future is a prosperous community in which people want to live and raise a family, where companies both large and small want to locate, where our seniors are treated with the respect and dignity and where we are strengthened by our religious, cultural and ethnic diversity.

Vicki has been involved in real issues facing real people in our community. These issues range from education to economic development, public safety and the environment. Local government is about providing outstanding service to the community. Citizens should expect to receive amenities that a prospering and diverse community deserves. Vicki played a vital role in the creation of the School Resource Officer (SRO) program in Baltimore County, the formation of the Pikesville Police Precinct and has advocated the partnership between Stevenson University and the State to secure the remaining Rosewood Property to provide them much needed space for their sports program and provide green space for the surrounding community. She will continue to work to bring a middle school, recreation center and library to Owings Mills, along with the revitalization of main streets.

Vicki Almond is a public servant, not a politician. Through her experience she will fight for the citizens of the community and work for the prosperity of all of Baltimore County.
